The 2022 Cricket T20 World Cup is an international cricket tournament to be held in Australia. The tournament will feature 16 teams.

T20 cup will be starting on 17oct and first match will be played between Namibia Vs Srilanka. Cricket Australia are aiming to sell one million tickets for the event which would make it the fourth most attended sporting event hosted by a country after football (soccer) matches hosted by Argentina, Indonesia and Uruguay respectively.

Daryl Mitchell is a cricketer and he fractured his finger.
A research study on the incidence of nonunion of fracture as an outcome measure was published by Greer et al.reported in the British Journal of Orthopaedics. The authors mention and illustrate in their case report that Daryl Mitchell, who plays for Gloucestershire, fractured one of his fingers during the Second Test against Sri Lanka at Lord's last week.

According to club officials, Mitchell was smacked on the hand by a good length ball from Dilhara Fernando. A subsequent scan revealed that the finger joint was not in a position that allowed it to be stabilised and he is expected to return at least some time during this season.
It is not yet clear whether he will play again this T20 world cup after recovering from his fractured finger.
